On Monday 27th February 2017, the National Assembly welcomed a group to visit from Adrian College, U.S.A., accompanied by some students from the University of Belize. The group was a small one consisting of 12 persons. They arrived at around 3:30P.M. and were escorted up and seated in the gallery where the presentation took place. The presentation was conducted by Ms. Eudice Gibson, Clerk Assistant. They were given a brief description of the historical background of the National Assembly, the composition of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the functions of the legislative branch of government. They also had the pleasure of seeing the Mace and were given a brief history of its historical background of the design and the significant role it plays in the sitting of the House of Representatives.

At the end of the presentation the students and teachers had various questions that were asked and Ms. Gibson ensured to answer and explain the best way possible.
