Little Flower R.C. Primary School Visits the National Assembly
Belmopan City, June 13th,,2025 — The National Assembly of Belize was pleased to welcome students, teachers and parents from Little Flower R.C. Primary School from the Toledo District today for an educational tour and presentation.
Approximately 38 students participated in the visit, which formed part of the Assembly’s ongoing efforts to promote civic education and awareness about the role and functions of Parliament. The students were guided by National Assembly staff members Ms. Burns and Mr. Hegar, who delivered an engaging and informative session on the structure, duties, and significance of the National Assembly.
The students showed great enthusiasm and participated actively throughout the session. Those who bravely responded to challenging questions posed during the presentation were rewarded with bookmarks as a token of encouragement and appreciation.
At the conclusion of the tour, a certificate of recognition was presented to the school in appreciation of their visit and active participation. The National Assembly remains committed to engaging with young citizens and fostering a deeper understanding of Belize’s democratic processes.
