Today, Friday, 9th June 2023, San Pedro Columbia R.C School from the Toledo District, visited the National Assembly to get an educational tour of the Legislative branch of Government.
The group consisted of about 67 Standard V and VI students, 9 parents, and 5 teachers who all sat in the public galleries for the presentation about the business that takes place inside the National Assembly Chambers. The group had the opportunity to view the Mace that is used in the Sittings of the House of Representatives and the Act Books on the table and ask questions before leaving.
