On Thursday, 11th May 2023, the National Assembly of Belize welcomed three primary schools hailing from different districts of the country on the occasion of educational visits.

The first to visit was Gulisi Community Primary School out of Dangriga Town, bringing along more or less 33 students from the Standard V and IV classes, 2 parents, and 2 teachers. Second was Santa Cruz Government School from the Orange Walk District with a group of 21 students all representing classes between Infant I to Standard VI, 28 parents, and 4 teachers. The third and last of the schools to visit was Our Lady of the Way R.C. School stemming from Ladyville Village with a group of 132 students from the Standards IV, V, and VI classes, along with 18 parents, and 9 teachers.

The schools got the chance to observe the Act Books and the Mace visible in the Chambers while receiving a presentation in the Public Galleries of the Lower and Upper Houses of the National Assembly. When the presentation was finished, numerous questions were asked which brought about informative conversations.
