Today, Wednesday, 24th April 2024, the National Assembly of Belize welcomed Standard 6 students from St. Martin’s Government School.
A group of about 52 students with the company of 2 teachers gathered in the Public Galleries where they received a tour and presentation on the National Assembly of Belize by two Parliamentary Officers.
The students got an opportunity to view the Chambers of the National Assembly while learning how legislation is passed and the main functions of the National Assembly of Belize. Students were all so engaged throughout the presentation and asked many questions.
