On Thursday, 25th November 2021, the Belize Parliamentary Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition (BPAHM) convened a meeting with the Parliamentary Champions  at the House of Culture in Belize City. The Parliamentary Champions comprise of Members from both the House of Representatives and the Senate such as the Honourable Francis Fonseca, Honourable Jose Mai, Honourable Orlando Habet, Honourable Oscar Requena, Honourable Michel Chebat, Honourable Dolores Balderamos-Garcia, Honourable Patrick Faber, Honourable Tracy Panton, Honourable Valerie Woods, Senator Isabel Bennett, Senator Sheena Pitts, Senator Osmany Salas, and Senator Carolyn Trench-Sandiford.

The meeting began with the National Anthem followed by the welcome remarks done by Mr. Emilio Montero, BPAHM Technical Committee. There was also a presentation on the School Feeding Project by Ms. Yolanda Gongora, BPAHM Technical Committee/Chief Education Officer.

The Honourable Valerie Woods gave a brief breakdown of the BPAHM Status Report. There was the distribution of seedlings to the Parliamentary Champions for them to disburse within their respective communities/schools/organization of choice. There was a variety of 7 seedling namely: string beans, lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, zucchini, tomato and sweet pepper. Mr. Montero shared tips on the care to be taken when transporting the seedlings and planting them.

Shortly after, there was the Launch of the BPAHM Song and Video commissioned through NICH. The song was composed by a collaboration of artists such as Stig the Artist, Denise Castillo, J Caz, Fobi and Rachel Westby. The song promotes healthy eating, eat what we grow and objectives of BPAHM in general.
